Celebrating 35 years as Dallas’ original
Spanish restaurant and tapas bar

Cafe Madrid offers patrons a cozy, intimate dining setting reminiscent of the little cafes found on the streets of Madrid. Family owned and operated and honored as one of D magazine’s “Best,” Cafe Madrid features such Spanish classics as paella, fried calamare, shrimp in garlic, and grilled quail. Wine Spectator Magazine honored Cafe Madrid for their unique wine list, which includes 85 varieties of Spanish wines and sherries. A private dining room is available for parties, meetings and special events.

“Cafe Madrid is still the best and everyone knows it,” says D magazine.

How many tapas should I order?
Three tapas are a great way to get your evening started. If you’re still hungry, just order more.

“The city’s original tapas bar possesses so much character that you’re won over long before the food arrives. The choices, a full spectrum of flavors and textures, ranges from lemon butter-tinged sweetbreads to briny sardines. In a pretty presentation, vivid red piquillo peppers are folded to make little pouches stuffed with creamy goat cheese. Combine these with fruit, assorted cheeses, and a robust red wine to feel like you’re in Europe.”
